Samuel has pneumonia:( We are at Children's Hospital now. He's has a cold since last Wednesday but it seemed to have gotten a bit worse rather than better. I brought him back in to the doctor yesterday and sure enough, it was worse. Pneumonia and an ear infection worse. So they sent us over to the hospital where they admitted him. They want him to stay a minimum of 48 hours but very possibly a few days longer. We have our own room and they brought in an extra fold-out chair so Derek could sleep here too last night. The poor little boy... yesterday they drew blood at the doctors office, then had to stick him eight times to start an IV here, and did a spinal tap which didn't work the first stick either. So a total of eleven needle sticks yesterday, then another one this morning. Oh and Derek went to the doc-in-the-box yesterday as well. He has ear infections in both ears. The rest of us seem to be getting better from our now 3 weeks of various sicknesses, but I won't get my hopes up yet.

Ow, ow, ow, all those sticks sound painful! I am sorry you have all been so sick.....
