Ok, that's really corny, but I couldn't help it! We just came home from our trip to Kansas. We were there (in Wichita) for a friends wedding. What a busy weekend it was! I could go into all the details but that would get boring. Let's just say that the visit was wonderful, the people (who we didn't know) were so friendly, the wedding was beautiful (I almost teared up a bit, which I don't do!), and the trip back home was... well, we made it here. It's supposed to be a 13 hour drive. We managed it in 24 hours. Yes, seriously, 24 hours. I'll spare you the details. It was just simply a long and exhausting trip. We traveled at night (and obviously during the day too!) and hardly slept, and few of us had slept much in previous days. We travelled with two other cars and eight other people. But we made it home. No accidents or injuries, just delays.
And it was totally worth the trip:)
