Resisting change!

There is a "new version of blogger" awaiting me. I don't like changing things around. You should have seen me when my computer downloaded and installed the new version of Internet Explorer last week! I approved some updates but I had no idea they were such drastic changes! I was totally panicking over the new look:) Eventually I decided to give it a chance (didn't see that I had a choice!). Lo and behold... it's not so bad:) So should I give the 'new' blogger a chance? Hmmm... I don't know about THAT!!:)

This morning we all had flu shots. Alabama was the first state to report widespread flu activity (there are at least 3 now, according to http://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/). There are something like 10 children in the Birmingham children's hospital now with severe flu problems. Garrett already had his first flu shot 2 months ago, but needed a second since this was his first year to get it. Hopefully we'll avoid being sick this year!

Tonight Derek and his brother (next door) are having a big XBOX party. Something like 13 or more people are supposed to be going. They'll stay up all night. I will go to bed.

Tomorrow morning I am taking the cutie-pies to get their pictures taken at Portrait Innovations. I bought them new adorable outfits just for the occasion. Maybe they will cooperate and look in the same direction at the same time with remotely normal-looking faces! Wouldn't that be great?!

Then in the afternoon Derek and I are going out for his birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEREK!!! I'm excited about it:) We'll see a movie, have dinner, then go bowling... all in one day! Can you imagine?:)

And now I am going to bed (as previously mentioned). I am tired. I have a headache. And I am going to bed!:)
